Maya’s teacher training curriculum exceeded all of my expectations. It was important to me that I pursue my certification at a studio that maintained the cultural integrity of the Ashtanga practice. I love Maya’s dedication to being a welcoming space for practitioners of all skill levels.

Maya Yoga's extensive curriculum is by far one of the best parts of teacher training. The curriculum goes beyond asana training and prepared me to dive deep in to yogic practice and philosophy that I could practice for the rest of my life.

Maya is the highest level of quality yoga studio in town and the instructors are AMAZING to learn from. From studying Ashtanga yoga at Maya, I’ve grown as a yoga practitioner, physician, and person.

Excellence. Tradition. Different. That’s what you’ll find at Maya Yoga. From the moment you set eyes on the art deco building, to rolling out your mat on the
new studio floors, you feel the energy of the freshly updated aesthetic. It’s been a privilege to learn and practice in this spiritual space and appreciate the invitation to be a part of this particular cohort.

The curriculum at Maya is comprehensive and covers the entire scope of the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga, including pranayama and a deep dive into the yoga sutras of Patanjali. Class size is small and intimate, there is lots of laughter and plenty of one-on-one attention from the teachers. I have made amazing connections with my fellow students in the teacher training program, it’s so fun to go hang out with them at the coffee shop during our breaks!
