Ashtanga for Life is great for all ages and abilities. Practice to improve your posture, release trigger points and tension, build functional strength, and experience the essence of Ashtanga yoga in a supportive and sacred space. We will focus on the 8 limbs of yoga, and it all starts with the tristhana: the breath, asana, and drishti.

  1. Breath and Movement Synchronization: The class emphasizes the synchronization of breath (Ujjayi Pranayama) with movement (vinyasa), creating a flowing, meditative practice. This focus on breathwork helps to calm the mind, reduce stress, and enhance your overall sense of well-being.

  2. Core Asanas: You will be guided through key postures such as Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara), standing poses, seated forward bends, twists, and backbends. Each posture is designed to systematically open and strengthen different parts of the body, promoting balance and stability.
